Hill Family Reunion
2008
We had a great time at the cabin this year. It is always nice to get together with everyone, and talk, play cards, eat, eat, and eat a little more. It always puts a smile on Grandpa and Grandmas faces to have all there family together.
I wonder if Riley loves his Grandpa.

Grandpa Hill was so good at keeping the kids entertained. Brinlee was having so much fun with Grandpa that every time he left she would start screaming "papa".

Wow, I cannot believe Christmas has come and gone. I love Christmas, it is my favorite time of year. It's the time of year that you get to live out all of your childhood memories with your own children. Beginning December 1st, the kids start asking how many more days until Santa comes, we get to decorate our homes, and watch our kids faces just light right up. We get together as families, and create new memories, I just love the Holidays. We had an awesome Christmas and hope all of you did to.
I asked Riley if he wanted to run to the store with me really fast, I needed to get the last few things on my Christmas list. If you want to take any of the kids shopping, Riley is the one you want to take. He is always just along for the ride. Riley did really great for the first 45 minutes of shopping, and then I think he had enough. The next thing I noticed, Riley zonked out on the bottom of the cart. I was lucky, I had my camera in my purse which I normally do not.
Kyson and Riley get so excited every year to put Santa's plate together. Every year Santa gets cookies and Pepsi.(Santa's favorites) This year, I talked the kids into cookies and milk. I told them, I think Santa has had enough pop this year. I hope Santa didn't mind. The kids were fine with it as long as we gave him chocolate milk. Then I guess Kyson was not OK with just cookies, because the next thing I noticed, Kyson was emptying my cupboards onto Santa's plate. He thought Santa would like a whole bunch of stuff. We settled with cookies and pretzels, and Santa ate them all.
Riley was so excited to ride the new snow machine, that we all got dressed and headed out to grandpas house. Here, Riley is giving Katlin a ride. He did pretty darn good. He only tipped it over a couple times, ran into the back of Brain's snow machine, and dumped it off of the snow machine trailer, when he insisted on loading it. Not to bad for his first day of riding.
Brinlee and Jackson, in Grandma and Grandpa's bed, which they thought was there own personal bedroom. These two kids, where so cute together. From the moment Kim got here to the moment she left, they where inseparable. In this picture, when I went to check on them, Brinlee was shearing her sipper cup with Jackson as they watched Dora. They would walk around the house holding hands, and of course getting into just a little mischief together. You can tell they are only a week apart in age, they where like a set of twins running around together. Poor Grandpa and Grandma, got a new surprise every night when they crawled into bed. Dad, called me one morning, and asked if I was missing one of Brinlee's sipper cups, he informed me that he found one, when he got into bed, and rolled over. He found that and numerous food items. "oops"
