Thanksgiving "2008"

Thanksgiving was great. We ate, ate, and ate a little more. Then us girls tried to fight the Black Friday sales adds from Jared. Imagine that.

The Kids had a blast with Taylor getting crafty, and face painting there faces.
Yes, we where all a little concerned with Rileys painted face. But we all got a good laugh at it. Riley would walk around the house, and we would just laugh, he had no clue what we where laughing at, or even what was painted on his face. He just new he was getting a lot of attention.

Grandpa and Grandma Bagley's Christmas party "2008"
Mom was in charge of the Bagley Christmas party this year. Mom decided that we would all draw names, divide into 6 groups, and have a race to see which team could win the most. Mom must have had one heck of a wild hair one day, you should have seen some of the games she came up with. Below you will see Coy below fishing around in cool whip to see how many gummy worms she can find within one minute. She ended up wearing most of it. Kirk on the other hand was a little jealous that coy had more cool whip on her face then he did, so they ended up sharing the cool whip, when uncle kirk came over and gave her a big Eskimo kiss on the check.

This game here was quite funny. Aunt Michelle ( top picture), Brian, Kayden, Jared and a couple others where nominated for the Cheetos throw. We sat these boys down, and poor Michelle, caked on shaving cream, and then was given one minute to throw as many Cheetos's on there face, and make sure they stuck. Who ever lathered Brian up, was pretty determined to win. They only gave him one eye to see out of, and one nose hole to breath. The game was great, except the fact that the guys smelled like shaving cream for a couple days, and there eye's where slightly burned. So next time instead of shaving cream, I think well go to cool whip.

I did not get any pictures of the donut eating contest, which was the funniest of all, or the bubble gum game. The team that one was Uncle Franks team, Which Coy happened to be on. I have decided that Coy, and Uncle Frank are not a good combination. Some how they one all of games(cheater's). So Kim and Heidi, I want you to ask coy how she one the game " who can blow the biggest bubble from a piece of bubble gum. It involves Frank and Coy, just imagine. Your not kidding some people will go to great lengths to win.

Brian Kayden Jared

At the end of the party Santa clause came. As you can see from the pictures, Brinlee was scared to death, Riley was in hog heaven, and kyson was like what the heck happened to the real Santa clause.
After Santa left, Kyson came up to me and said he new that was not the real Santa. I told him your right it was one of Santa's silly worker's.

The party was a lot of fun. I always love going to Grandpa and Grandmas house, and so do the kids. I am so happy that they are so lucky to be able to make such great memories with them.

This year we decided to put up our fake tree. We always take the kids out and let them pick a real one. But after the last 2 years, they are so dead by Christmas, that I talked the kids into the fake one this year. As you can tell Brian had a lot of help putting the tree up. So much he did not quite no what to do. The kids had a blast.

Brinlee figured since she had so much practice on our Christmas tree, she outta help Grandpa Calderwood out. Lets just Say, the tree was a little lop sided when they where done. Grandpa Calderwood almost had a breakdown. Grandma talked him into a fake one this year. He said he would give it a try. I don't think he will be doing it again. This was his first time he had touched a fake tree, and you would have thought he was getting a tooth pulled.

Last night for family night, the kids had a blast making there Christmas chains. They are counting the days down.

This is Riley's friend Bethany. The other day they where sitting on the couch watching a show.
I left the room for a minute, and when I walked back in to the room, Bethany was sitting right next to Riley with her head laying on Riley's shoulder. When she saw me she jumped up and slid back to the other end of the couch. "Busted"

Riley, even though he is making googly eyes at Bethany, he was proud of his gingerbread house he made at school that day.

Our little Brinlee lately, has given a whole new meaning to lively in our home. There is not a day that goes by, that there's not a story to tell. Being a mom of three little kids, you really have to plan every little tiny thing you have to do precisely to the moment, in order to get things done. Brinlee, well how to put this nicely. She has been a little more active lately. It was amazing that within 48 hours, what that little girl could accomplish. Anyone that knows brinlee, knows that she has her favorite pink blanket. Brinlee dose not part with it for anything, and i mean anything. She walks around the house with it all day long. She eats with it, if she goes outside to play it goes, and i guarantee you she would potty with it, if she used the potty. The other day i put her in the bathtub with Riley, I walked upstairs to put her clothes away, came back down to the bathroom, and this is what i found.
After i got her out of the tub and had dressed her for the day, once again i was putting clothes away and walked down to the bathroom, and this is what i found. ( Brinlee putting on her medicated lotion i use for a rash on her leg's. Surprisingly, she got it everywhere on herself but where her rash was.)If you are wondering why she is in different outfits, that would be because she goes threw about 2 a day. After that i just let it be diaper day.
An little while later, once again i walked down stairs, and this is what i found. ( Brinlee putting on my eyeshadow. From the looks of it, i am thinking she thought it was lipstick.)
I guess brinlee got tired of drawing on the paper. And yes i did ask myself after "why did i give her a pen".

O, No it's not over.
The next day, Riley was at school, and i had to use the bathroom. So i turned on Barney, thinking that it would keep her occupied for the 2 minutes, that i would not have my eye's on her. Well, as i opened the bathroom door, i herd this cute little voice saying "look mom", I walked into the kitchen and this is what i found.

( Brinlee, having some fun with the eggs in the fridge.)

I must say, i got a good laugh at that one. That's one my boy's definitely never tried. I sat there later on with Brinlee on my lap, she looked at me and said ma-ma, with a big smile on her face, and i thought, how boring my life would be if i did not get to wake up every day, and see those three little kids, and wonder what story's am i going to have today.

Today when i was doing my nails, Brinlee wanted her nails done to. This is Brinlee's first time getting her nails painted. I did not think she would hold still long enough, but she did. It was funny, she would walk around the the house saying Kyson, Riley look, and laugh.

THE HILL'S PUMPKIN PATCH

The kids have been begging me for week's to carve the pumpkin's. What they don't no is the sooner you carve them, the sooner they turn into mush. So for family night, we carved the pumpkins. Brian was so proud of himself, he drew his own pictures on the pumpkins for the kids to carve, and i must say they looked pretty darn good. Kyson was so funny this year. In the years past, there was no way that he was going to stick his hand inside the pumpkin. He would always try, but lets just say that is as far as it got. But this year, kyson was determined to carve his own pumpkin all by himself, and he did. But i well say it was pretty dang funny to watch. Riley, on the other hand was like bring it on. And he to attempted to carve his pumpkin by himself. If you look close enough, you can see where his carving knife trailed off, more then once.

Brinlee, as you can see did not have a problem touching it either. Every time i turned around, she was either eating it, or licking it. When me or brian would try to help her, she would scream "no" at us. I guess if the boys where going to carve, so was she, and as long as you stayed a good distance from her, you did not have to worry about her getting you with the carving knife. I no, we are such a safe family.
The kid's had a blast decorating the Halloween gingerbread house. And mom and dad had even more fun cleaning up all of the black frosting.

I was sad, this was the first year i did not try to stick one of the kids in a pumpkin. But we tried with kyson, with his head anyways.
But i still prefer them in pumpkins.

Riley's 2nd Halloween.

Brinlee's 1st Halloween.

This year for Halloween Brian and I decided to get the kids costumes early so they where not so picked over. I hung the costumes up in the closet, and every once in a while, I would catch Riley just standing there staring at his costume. He would ask me ever day "mom, is this the day I get to wear my costume". Kyson, was so excited this year. Last year he wanted to be Optimise Prime from the movie transformers. But last year you could not get the costume anywhere. They where no where to be found. So I was determined to get it this year. Riley was Spider man last year, so we asked him what he wanted to be this year, and he said a fire truck. Well a fire truck is not the easiest costume to find, so he decided on "Black Venom" the bad spider man. When you would asked Riley what his costume was, he would tell everyone that he was an angel. I have yet to figure out how he got an angel out of a bad spider man outfit, but it made us laugh anyways. Brinlee, was a scarecrow. I wanted her to be a fairy, but so did everyone else, you could not find that costume either, so I opted for a scar crow, and I must say she looked pretty darn cute.

The kids get so excited to go trick or treating at grandpa and Grandmas houses. It means more candy. Grandma Hill puts together little treat bags for all for the grand kids. She loads it up with lots of candy, and some fun little toys.
Last but not least, we hit Grandpa and Grandma Calderwood's house, where Grandma made her famous homemade chicken noodle soup, and homemade doughnuts. Grandma was so nice a few years ago to make this for everyone, when it was snowing on Halloween, and she new that everyone would all be freezing. We all loved it so much, that now this is one of our family's traditions.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
