Our little Brinlee lately, has given a whole new meaning to lively in our home. There is not a day that goes by, that there's not a story to tell. Being a mom of three little kids, you really have to plan every little tiny thing you have to do precisely to the moment, in order to get things done. Brinlee, well how to put this nicely. She has been a little more active lately. It was amazing that within 48 hours, what that little girl could accomplish. Anyone that knows brinlee, knows that she has her favorite pink blanket. Brinlee dose not part with it for anything, and i mean anything. She walks around the house with it all day long. She eats with it, if she goes outside to play it goes, and i guarantee you she would potty with it, if she used the potty. The other day i put her in the bathtub with Riley, I walked upstairs to put her clothes away, came back down to the bathroom, and this is what i found.
After i got her out of the tub and had dressed her for the day, once again i was putting clothes away and walked down to the bathroom, and this is what i found. ( Brinlee putting on her medicated lotion i use for a rash on her leg's. Surprisingly, she got it everywhere on herself but where her rash was.)If you are wondering why she is in different outfits, that would be because she goes threw about 2 a day. After that i just let it be diaper day.

O, No it's not over.
The next day, Riley was at school, and i had to use the bathroom. So i turned on Barney, thinking that it would keep her occupied for the 2 minutes, that i would not have my eye's on her. Well, as i opened the bathroom door, i herd this cute little voice saying "look mom", I walked into the kitchen and this is what i found.
( Brinlee, having some fun with the eggs in the fridge.)
I must say, i got a good laugh at that one. That's one my boy's definitely never tried. I sat there later on with Brinlee on my lap, she looked at me and said ma-ma, with a big smile on her face, and i thought, how boring my life would be if i did not get to wake up every day, and see those three little kids, and wonder what story's am i going to have today.

THE HILL'S PUMPKIN PATCH
The kids have been begging me for week's to carve the pumpkin's. What they don't no is the sooner you carve them, the sooner they turn into mush. So for family night, we carved the pumpkins. Brian was so proud of himself, he drew his own pictures on the pumpkins for the kids to carve, and i must say they looked pretty darn good. Kyson was so funny this year. In the years past, there was no way that he was going to stick his hand inside the pumpkin. He would always try, but lets just say that is as far as it got. But this year, kyson was determined to carve his own pumpkin all by himself, and he did. But i well say it was pretty dang funny to watch. Riley, on the other hand was like bring it on. And he to attempted to carve his pumpkin by himself. If you look close enough, you can see where his carving knife trailed off, more then once.

Brinlee, as you can see did not have a problem touching it either. Every time i turned around, she was either eating it, or licking it. When me or brian would try to help her, she would scream "no" at us. I guess if the boys where going to carve, so was she, and as long as you stayed a good distance from her, you did not have to worry about her getting you with the carving knife. I no, we are such a safe family.

This year for Halloween Brian and I decided to get the kids costumes early so they where not so picked over. I hung the costumes up in the closet, and every once in a while, I would catch Riley just standing there staring at his costume. He would ask me ever day "mom, is this the day I get to wear my costume". Kyson, was so excited this year. Last year he wanted to be Optimise Prime from the movie transformers. But last year you could not get the costume anywhere. They where no where to be found. So I was determined to get it this year. Riley was Spider man last year, so we asked him what he wanted to be this year, and he said a fire truck. Well a fire truck is not the easiest costume to find, so he decided on "Black Venom" the bad spider man. When you would asked Riley what his costume was, he would tell everyone that he was an angel. I have yet to figure out how he got an angel out of a bad spider man outfit, but it made us laugh anyways. Brinlee, was a scarecrow. I wanted her to be a fairy, but so did everyone else, you could not find that costume either, so I opted for a scar crow, and I must say she looked pretty darn cute.
Last but not least, we hit Grandpa and Grandma Calderwood's house, where Grandma made her famous homemade chicken noodle soup, and homemade doughnuts. Grandma was so nice a few years ago to make this for everyone, when it was snowing on Halloween, and she new that everyone would all be freezing. We all loved it so much, that now this is one of our family's traditions.
